Total Quality Management (TQM) – Project Coordination

With over 20+ years of experience in Architecture and a Masters in Construction Management, Solutions Architecture’s Principal and founder, Frank Messineo is the right choice when it comes to successful project coordination.

Frank has developed a detailed system of coordination and controls based upon years of practical construction experience and from having established and run Construction Administration Departments for two larger architectural firms.

To this end, the system is about reviewing the entire process, from both contractor and Architect’s perspectives. The focus is on managing the total project which in turn results in better quality, better cost and greater efficiency.

Total Quality Management grows out of close coordination between the Owner, Architect, Project Manager and with all construction trades is paramount for any successful completion. We believe that the role of the Total Quality Management team would be to compliment those services provided by the Design Architect and Contractor and provide the Owner, with relevant, necessary representation during this often complex endeavor.

Providing a deliberate, hands on approach from review of the documents for program and constructibility; review of the construction budget and schedules; coordination of significant paperwork including: submittals, requests for information, payment applications and shop drawings. The TQM Team will foster effective communication and dissemination of information via monthly status reports that inform the Owner and associated project representatives of project progress.

An excellent coordinated set of CDs normally assures quality construction and minimizes change orders.
