Seton Hall University

Baseball Training Facility

The existing indoor batting cages were in poor condition and needed a complete renovation including new turf flooring and retractable netting system. We designed a series of padded panels as a backstop to prevent balls from ricocheting off existing piping and ductwork, and enclosing the pitching machines. The space now functions more efficiently and is safer and more usable for players and coaches.

Coach Comments:
“The great thing about this room is we have so many situations to make our game better,” Doell said. “There’s a huge putting green, so you can do short putts or really long putts. There’s different types of grass that you can chip from.”
