SSolutions Architecture Sponsors Morris County Unsung Heroes
9 May 2023The Solutions Architecture team is thrilled to have had the opportunity to sponsor the Nancy Helbourg Memorial Recognition Ceremony, a special event presented by the Morris County School Boards Association, that celebrates the Unsung Heroes of the county's school districts. This prestigious award acknowledges students who have demonstrated a spirit of inspiration, exceptional perseverance, citizenship, or academic achievement despite facing disabilities or other significant challenges.
Out of the 40 remarkable winners from Morris County School Districts, we are proud to have our contribution recognized by Morris Knolls High School Senior, Kiersten Rock-Torcivia. Kiersten's journey to healing began at the young age of 14 when she was diagnosed with ARVD/C, a predominantly genetic heart disease that can be life-threatening when undiagnosed.
Despite the challenges that she faced, Kiersten found solace in music and used it as a tool to reduce her anxieties during numerous procedures and surgeries. Her experience inspired her to establish Heartfelt Harmonies, a charity that provides music therapy kits to other children who are going through difficult times and could benefit from the therapeutic qualities of music.
We are incredibly proud to have sponsored Kiersten and her incredible accomplishments in the face of adversity, and we extend our sincerest congratulations to her for receiving this well-deserved recognition. We wish her the best of luck as she begins her journey at Boston College this fall.
