 Through the years, the Library Boards have worked diligently to save money from their operating budget to facilitate this renovation without any cost to the taxpayers of Fairfield, We’re thrilled to finally have construction underway after years of planning.

Gymnasium Addition Ground Breaking
Solutions Architecture attended the recent Ground Breaking for the greatly anticipated Gymnasium Addition at the Stephen J. Gerace Elementary School in Pequannock School District. The groundbreaking was held on January 13, 2014, with school and township administrators, board members, architects, and all students from grades K-5 as they greatly anticipate the completion of a dedicated space for physical fitness education and recreation. The school is the only facility in the district without an appropriate gymnasium. The 7,500 square foot addition will be constructed of masonry and metal panels and will include public restrooms, storage rooms, and an office with a new connecting corridor to the existing building. Natural lighting will be provided through translucent panels and the sloped roof is designed to accommodate solar panels if the district decides to have them installed in the future. The new gymnasium is scheduled to open on or about the beginning of school in 2014. Solutions Architecture LLC has been working with Pequannock Township schools over the past four years completing projects such as new efficient heating systems, roofing replacements, upgraded science and technology classrooms, and athletic field renovations..
