As a recent graduate of Philadelphia University, I received an education that was based upon collaboration and innovation. This has provided me with the skills needed to start my professional career. While in school, I focused my studies on environmental sustainability. This learning path exposed me to global issues, both large and small, with the takeaway that as designers in the built environment, we must move forward and make responsible decisions to positively affect our environment.

During school, I gained professional experience at an environmental engineering firm based in New Jersey where I became proficient in AutoCAD and Revit-Building Information Modeling (BIM) Software. I worked as part of a team consisting of engineers, geologists, hydrologists, and principals from various disciplines to ensure their field notes and project designs were presented accurately on the CAD / construction documents produced for the clients.

In addition, I helped to organize Philadelphia University’s participation in the international charity event, CANstruction. This annual design competition benefits the local community food banks.
